A root canal is performed when there is an infected or decayed tooth, and the decomposition has to be removed before it gets any worse. The doctors commence your root canal by accessing the infected tooth, and removing the pulp. When the tooth is infected, it also infects the pulp of the tooth, causing it to exacerbate. Once the pulp of the tooth is removed, our doctors will fill the tooth with a tooth-colored filling, and top it with a crown to prevent any further corruption. Dr. Klugman is one of only 500 dentists in the state of California certified in sedation dentistry, so you are sure to be in excellent hands. We offer oral conscious Sedation, Nitrous Oxide sedation, IM (intramuscular) and IV sedation. Oral conscious sedation involves orally taking medicine before your appointment, and gives you the relaxed feeling you need. You remain conscious during the procedure, so that you can answer any questions the doctor may have. Nitrous Oxide sedation, also known as laughing gas, is administered through a nasal mask. Dr. Klugman controls the amount of Nitrous you receive, allowing you to have a comfortable experience. As soon as the mask is removed, the effects diminish, leaving no residual drowsiness. IM or IV sedation is often used during long procedures. Being a controlled form of sedation, Dr. Klugman gives you the right amount depending on your anxiety level. Great for patients with a sensitive gag reflex or who suffer from TMJ disorder, this form of sedation allows you to keep your mouth open for long periods of time.

Here at Blanco Circle Dental Care, we know that having a bright, white smile is important to many of our patients. This is why we offer a great program called Bright White Forever to help make teeth whitening more affordable for our patients.
The costs of teeth whitening treatments can add up, especially because you’ll need more than one treatment to ensure lasting results. Usually a teeth whitening treatment is $350, but if you sign up for Bright White Forever you’ll pay an $89 membership fee. In return, we’ll provide you with custom bleaching trays and a continual supply of whitening gel to maintain your dazzling smile.
In order to participate in Bright White Forever, we have two major rules. The first is that you attend regular dental hygiene visits. You must visit us at least every six months in order to keep receiving your whitening gel. Second, you must give us at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. We try to help as many people as possible each day, so if you can’t make your appointment please give us the opportunity to try and fill it so we can accommodate someone else.
